I thought at the very least he would stay on as a power play specialist and 4th liner. When the new regime ruined the power play, Matty Mo's days were numbered because he really didn't bring any other value to the team. It's a shame. It will be interesting to see if, by making room for competition, they bring up a whole fwd line from the Amerks and play them as a unit. ERod replaces Crisco, Someone else can replace Matty Mo. This is just another in what is becoming a long string of Jack Eichel body language incidents. I understand being frustrated, but at some point the "displays of emotion" become unconvincing/unproductive. I'm no longer convinced that Jack is earning the right to act this way.
