Question:. Do current events permit increased hours of alcohol consumption at home?

I'm frankly shocked that Texas would lead in this regard.

You can now order cocktails for delivery in New York State.  The wife and I ordered mason jars full of Negronis the other day.  What a world, hope that sticks.

Ha me too. 2nd one in my life at 55 years young. So far I look like a greasy pervert ( according to my wife ).

Kruppstahl:  "Hey Bunomatic, what's up? I see you're growing a mustache!"

Bunomatic: "Ah not much.  Yeah, my wife says I look like a greasy pervert, but I figure what the hell."

I drove a friend to the liquor store yesterday.  Based upon my observation of what was going on in there, I'm guessing that whoever made this map didn't include WNY.

Bottle King has delivered here in Bergen county for years. They even have their own van. I’ve never used the service.

My vodka is getting a little low.

My wife was finally cleaning out her bag of Xmas stocking stuffers from her parents. Her Aunt used to be a nun so her Dad got her and all the girls one. Seemed whimsical at the time.

I had to reinvent my entire company over the last week and a half as all we provide is client entertaining Fortune 1000 companies. Now that all the mass Gatherings have come to a screeching halt, I had to come up with virtual ideas the offer clients and fortunately it is actually working.

Went for another ride Saturday- 24 miles.  It was about the same temperature as the previous day (mid 50s) but sunny and less wind, so more people were out.  I saw a lot of families out with their kids; they must be going stir crazy at home.

This is a hill I've never been able to climb, but it's fun going down 🙂

The river's typically about half as wide as this; we've had a lot of rain lately.

This couple passed me and I drafted them for a bit before passing them again.

Sundance Square plaza downtown is usually pretty busy with nice weather, but there's not much open downtown.

If you see the white SUV on the far side of the plaza, it's waiting in line at a local restaurant that has curbside pickup only.  There is a lot of concern for those who are out of work due to the pandemic; they're trying curbside in an effort to keep restaurants open.  I hope it doesn't result in transmission of the virus.

Making beef short ribs, braised in chianti, over cheesy polenta with broiled asparagus.

Just because I am stuck at home doesn't mean I need to eat like a savage.

Hmmmm..... Port after dinner?

I have been working from home and I will be for quite awhile.   My job lends itself to this and I prefer it actually.  My wife and I are told to stay at home and practice all the known precautions.

I am focusing on health:

Monday thru Friday I work 8 hours or so.

Everyday I walk a few miles and will be adding to that distance (weather permitting)

we started P90 training (With the DVDs) - that is 6 days on, 1 rest.

Entertainment:

I am an audio nut so I listen to music several hours a day

Stream TV/ movies

pick up my neglected guitar and play

Home Projects:

Today - I cleaned and reorganized my desk and file Cabernet and burned unneeded papers.
Tomorrow - I will go through clothes and donate excess to charity

Tuesday I will clean out and reorganize the rest of my office.
In the meantime My wife is clearing out her sewing/ junk room

By Friday we will clear out and prep both rooms for paint

Saturday and Sunday we paint both rooms.

Monday we put it all back only with less clutter and better organized.  We are swapping rooms too.  I get the bigger one since I am retiring soon (hopefully) and need the space for my next gig as a consultant.

Trying to be productive.

Port I agree with. Grappa,... no.

It is neat how it turns white, though.

Port is too sweet for me.  I like a little scotch (or Irish) after dinner.
