I wonder if our facilities help these things It can't really hurt, but the biggest factor seems to be the sorry state of our defense. He'll get a chance to get more minutes here than on a team with a better defense plus we should (in theory at least) have plenty of space to offer him a long term deal for solid money given we don't really have anyone else locked up long term beside Ristolainen and Bogosian (who could still possibly be exposed and taken in the expansion draft).
