Now, I don't know why he would sign with the Sabres but we certainly have the cash to throw at him. Career 139 wins, 92 losses , 2.46 GAA, 0.918 S%. And this is while playing most of his career with ARI. They need to keep winning. Only two teams in the division do not make the playoffs. At the moment, the Amerks are one of those (judged by points percentage). Points percentage is calculated by dividing the total points in the PTS column with total possible points for all games played(2 pts per game). However, Samuelsson's takeover of the Sabres blueline has crushed Rochester (along with Fitzgerald's injury-related callup). There's no one else good enough to replace the loss of their top D-pair.
