If that was actually the framework, I suspect that framework still exists. The reason the trigger is not pulled is because the teams would have to make the necessary cap moves to accommodate that framework. Once Jack is on LTIR, he doesn't affect the Knights' cap at all. Their issues happens when Stone and Jack come off LTIR. But maybe they have plans to Kucherov one or both.
