The color pattern doesn't seem to have any congruity with the logo. It's like they just slapped it on a striped jersey and called it a day. The jerseys are mostly inspired by the military. Logo was inspired by this: The team will be playing a preseason game at West Point against the Devils. My original opinion when seeing just the logo was that the cat head would make a great logo & the full shield would be a very good shoulder patch. Seeing the whole thing only reinforces that.
