He's near the top for me as well. I still have Dahlin and Peterka ahead, but he's currently the third favorite ahead of Cozens and Quinn. -
Funnest post in a while!
-
With Adams in charge he went the lazy way out and did zero research. This screams calling on the last coach with any sustained success who can put the fans to drowsy recollection of the late 90s early 2000s runs.
-
Good luck Victor. Thanks for the powerplay one timers. Regardless of everything you were a consumate professional.
-
Also ***** nostalgic hires. If he brings us to the playoffs next year, I'll be content enough. Otherwise, this is a lazy pathetic hire.
-
Hopefully he shows up to get any lingering mementos after he's bought out.
-
Color me unimpressed when come year three were looking for a younger hc. I like Ruff, but this is 7 years late.
-
I'm not much of a Berube fan. I think he fell into a great landing spot and a team that went on a freakish run. He'd be a Bylsma hire to me. I like then discipline in his manner. But eh.
-
Brossoit of that group listed. Hill is locked up for two years. I'd be fine with Brossoit, right age/starting experience/cup experience.
-
I'll believe it when I see it. 👀 We've been weaved this fairytale before.

Because I'm biased as f***!

I do think the main core is good enough to make it to the playoffs. However they need to break up some of the same and add different elements. See Brady Tkachuk, William Carrier, etc for some more grit. They needed to mix it up a bit regardless if the Middlestadt for Byram deal was the right one. There definitely needs to be tweaking. That being said we are always reacting to a situation instead of getting ahead of it. Injuries and off years happen to every team, so they need to bring in new veteran leadership. Also a lot more fight!

More like waste management. 🗑 We will be sewn false promises and deliver zilch. -
Players that should NOT be on this team next year

I just see the health issues, and the left side has so much quality. Dahlin, Power, Byram, Johnson. -

Skinner, Krebs, Jokiharju, Bryson and Samuelsson. That's my list. The UFAs aren't needed to be listed. Of them I'd only consider Girgensons. -
Krebs doesn't look to be a part, I'd move him in a deal for an upgrade on the right side of defense. Mattias, Krebs and 1st for Rasmus Andersson?
-
Tij, plays an intense brand of hockey, and he's a great pick anywhere outside the top 5-6. But, it also depends on who falls and or is available.
-
I'd love Lidstrom or Silayev. Interested in Iginla and Pronger. It's an interesting crop. I agree with many here. Get me skill with an aggressive side.

Is there an Aggressive GM developing inside Adams?
Rasmus_ replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Adams is a motivator. He has no credibility even after year four. The only thing that has improved is the drafting and overall development. There is never a sense of urgency and he is a yes man. -

Sabres Trade Erik Johnson to Philadelphia for a 2024 4th Round Pick

With Byram in the team, once Samuelsson gets healthy, I'd look to move on from him. -
Isn't this a Byram thread? He's looked smooth and looks like a win on the back end so far.
