This was the game he, Danielius Nomanovas, threw the stick, it was not even called a penalty:

He played the next game:

I find that weird.

Careful there.  If they end up eligible for the lottery your malice may come back to bite you in them receiving the number 1 pick.  Rather they make last seed and lose in the first round.

Indeed. Ideally April 1st cements the Laffs in the playoffs AND Buffalo in last place.

Sorry, emotions got the best of me, you both are totally right. Spock type logic right and it's impossible to refute with anything other than an emotional response. I don't hate the Leafs as a team so much as I hate the fans that will invade April 1st. And you are both right, a win could doom the Leafs to another decade of mediocrity, hanging on to that eighth seed and the draft pick that comes with it.

I love Don Cherry.

Tells it like it is, always.

Below is his take on the whole Evander Kane saga ...

In the next Federal Election (this October, at the latest) I am going to write in Cherry for PM.

Then again, maybe I won't write in this duffus head after all ...

Henrik Lundvquist has a "strained blood vessel" which puts him at an increased risk for stroke.  He will be re evaluated in three weeks to determine his playing status.  He is taking aspirin in the meantime.

A strained blood vessel sounds like he may have had a partial carotid artery dissection.

They play the Stars tonight, both teams could use some help at the goaltending position.
