But it's good that sometimes there are people like the big guy that do the wrong thing because maybe the next rocket surgeon that's going to act like an entitled weenie will think twice before acting like an entitled weenie. Society as a whole is better when people remember that when in public they should ask themselves SHOULD this be done not CAN this be done. But, to your 1st sentence, 2 things: 1 - per our resident Texan, that punch likely wasn't illegal. & 2 - just because something is illegal, it isn't necessarily wrong. That's all I am looking at for right and wrong here. If the person who throws the punch is not charged, then it was not considered a crime and therefore not in violation of the law or the rules. It's not really for us to say what is and is not allowed. There is clear video evidence here. You are touching on that here I believe Whether I agree with what happened, or not - I hate the turn of phrase but what that guy did mostly falls under “f*ck around and find out”. Agree that according to the law you can’t just throw out that punch. Don’t agree as was intimated elsewhere above that in cases where there is “no charge” there was no lawful infraction committed. Even with full faith in the Law itself whether or not it is always being accurately enforced is a whole other matter. Anyways, that’s all I got on this.
