He does a weekly power rankings every Saturday night and he had the Sabres at (IIRC) #19 just last night. Basically said that, while there are still massive flaws, that the Sabres are really developing a terrific core and are no longer a pushover. Said the Sabres could be a team that surprises a lot of people next year if the young guys keep developing and they make a few key additions (notably goal tending) in FA.
