I think the skate away from teammates with the head down is going to become a familiar sight to us. It's how he focuses. He came out for the opening faceoff of the scrimmage back in July and did it. I expected him to pronounce it that way. Perhaps he was having fun? Perhaps he says it that way and others say it like pesser. Either way.. it was funny to hear. That's my prediction for this team. Forget shutouts. Lot's of high-scoring tilts, of which the Sabres will lose their fair share, but will win a surprising (to the rest of the league) amount. That makes for a hound's breakfast in the opener: Pysyk - Ristolainen Weber - Franson and probably Colaiacovo -Donovan, but if either Gorges or Bogosian get IR'd McCabe or Guhle could get to show their stuff. I'd expect they'd give the chance to McCabe, but I'd be ok w/ a 3-4 game look-see on Guhle. (Don't think he's earned a full 9 games.)
