He plays physically along the boards, can defend the net front and has a 70% success rate in zone exits at 5-on-5. One of the reasons he was coveted was because he's a two-way defender. There is a young fella I've remarked a few times before who posts at Hockeybuzz. I don't really like the vibe of that place (folks here are funnier and nicer and well-informed,) but it's another source for Sabres' talk. With Nashville selling, I'm guessing Saros, who only has 3 seasons left on his deal, doesn't make sense for him to stick around while the Preds develop their freshly acquired draft picks. Anyways, yes he has been correct in his scoops in the past. Does anyone listen to After the Whistle? Someone said Roenick was on and he just went in on Chychrun.
