No one thought they would be saying that before this season started but yes I agree because that line has been really good. Wonder if they put Asplund onto that line & then play C by committee. Granato's been doing a good job so far of finding lines that work with a fairly narrow pool of candidates. The line with Tage, Olofsson, and Asplund has played pretty well together and I would think that they wouldn't want to mess with it. I think Tage needs Asplund right now. Weird world we live in. I’ve said it before but Rasputin put a weird hex on all the forwards and offensive D he coached. Eakin's only out for a few games I think so I would just dress Hayden on that line and move Girgs to center. Juggle lines a little during the games maybe to give more ice time to anyone having a good night but otherwise don't rock the boat until it starts leaking. Jankowski is on an AHL contract, although I suppose they can change that. I would imagine picking up either he or Barre-Boulet, or anyone else would be contingent on the length of time Casey, Vinnie and Cody are going to be out. This is their attitude I believe and why not. Who's better than the next man up? On this team it doesn't matter and I like that. So far. Or maybe he’s just not that good. You can "wrong" all you like but my comment wasn't. I saw him and he didn't impress me. obviously didn't impress the Kraken either.
