Interesting Incident at Practice Today January 10th, 2018

So did the Bogo injury precede the Falk incident?  Did Falk get on Kane because he felt Kane was responsible for Bogo's injury?

Or was Bogo's hard practice check on Kane sticking up for Falk?  In typical Bogo fashion he hurt himself though

Bogo has the most history with Kane, across two organizations.  Seems to me, he was trying to send a message.

And that message is:  "I can't get through a season injury-free."  :w00t:

Hashtag locker room culture

You're so selfish Kane. Stop scoring. You're making the rest of us look bad. /s

I know he scores a lot. I still believe that getting rid of him is part of the solution. Physically gifted to the extreme; (hockey) dumb as a box of rocks.

Oh I'm not against that. I have no love/attachment for anyone on the team at this point (some hope in a few but... we're 30th for chr!st's sake. Again. Thanks Phoenix, for sucking more than us.). It's just ironic that the only guy producing is also seemingly a huge thorn in the side of the organization/morale. But we got rid of Moulson which upset Jack into scoring more so...

I dunno. It's a lot of speculation- you hear what snippets get out. I'm not there, I don't know the guys, I don't know if it's just youth and the remnants of terrible years of bad systems, or they're all just partying too damn much. Guess I'll just sit back and drink heavily until they figure it out.

If we actually had a team or any chance whatsoever at the playoffs, this might be interesting news.

As it is, it just doesn't really matter.

I did enjoy Housley turning into Mr. Tough Guy in his post-game presser last night....threw Lehner under the bus right off the bat!

"Interesting Incident at Practice ..."

Sadly, really don't remember the last "interesting incident in game." It's been a long friggin' time.

Great post!

And here's a question for you: when was the last time the Sabres played an "important" game in which we were trying to win?

I.E., tank games don't count.

I seem to recall a late season game in Washington against the Caps. We needed to win to maintain our meager chances of making the playoffs, with only 4 or 5 games left in the season.  Pommer got a great goal in that game when he intercepted the puck, and skated 2/3 of the ice along the far wall and scored.  Ruff was still the coach.

Who remembers that game?  It was a big deal at the time.

When was that?  6 years ago?  It's the last time I remember feeling nervous and pumped up for a big, important Buffalo Sabres hockey game.

(I think it was in March 2012)
