Sabre fan
This is vitally important news moving forward...Kyle is a good person and a very good hockey player and we need him in the lineup. Strange that the team has not said virtually anything about his condition. Makes you wonder if there isn;t something wrong here that they ain't telling us... By law, they can't say anything about his health, especially if whatever he is being treated for is not a hockey game/ practice related injury. And as others have stated above, this news, if correct, is excellent to read. Edited April 23, 2017 by Taro T

TrueBlueGED
When did Okposo suffer a concussion? Was that his "illness" before being admitted to the ICU?
Marvelo
If Okposo suffered a concussion, then it's possible that he may have also damaged his detached retina, which previously almost ended his NHL career with the Islanders... I-90 W
Above all else I'm glad he is going to be okay. Aside from that though, is he still going to be playing come next October or is this a career ender?

That Aud Smell
Carrier confirmed to RDS in an interview that Okposo had a concussion I think that had been widely reported as the reason for his initial absence from the lineup. The hospitalization was reportedly tied to an adverse reaction to a medication he took for the concussion.
