ubkev
How did Ullmark do? I'll give ya a full update later today.
pastajoe
Johansson got his first loss today as Brampton beat Cincy. They lost from a shorthanded goal against with 2 minutes left in game. What's with these Sabres teams giving up SH goals?!
ubkev
How did Ullmark do? Sorry for the long wait. Ullmark did what was asked of him. He was fine. He didn't have to be spectacular. He just had to be pretty good and he was. Rebound control was fine. He was fine out of the net. We just controlled the puck for the entire 2nd and 3rd periods so it wasn't a very stressful night for him.

matter2003
This is a definite glimmer of hope in a black sea of despair...Rochester is actually playing well for the first time in a long time...that's how the Sabres coming out of the lockout became good...a bunch of players who were doing well at Rochester all came up together and kept right on doing well with the Sabres... Â :D lets hope he keeps playing well. But did he let in any "easy goals" at the "wrong time"? Â :flirt:
Huckleberry
Looking more like Ullmark will be getting his shot next year in goal.
inkman
Except Erod, Baptiste, Smith and Ullmark, aren't Vanek, Pommers, Roy and Miller. Not yet. I'm not Gonna tell ya they will be as good as the SGM but I've liked what I've seen out of all those guys.

Marvelo
Id rather see Bailey play than Girgensons, who is a total fail as a #1 draft choice. They both have 3 pts.
inkman
Hopefully they will get the chance to step up next season Possibly even after the trading deadline, when Kane, Pouliot, Gorges, Pominville and who knows who else will be gone. Â Doubt they'll trade him this year, he has a year left and he isn't the problem.
matter2003
Except Erod, Baptiste, Smith and Ullmark, aren't Vanek, Pommers, Roy and Miller. Â Hey...we gotta start somewhere...Rodriguez has been productive when he has played...not at that level but definitely a good 3rd line player. Scottysabres
So, this CJ Smith guy, he likes to score goals I hear. Looks to be having an AHL season that screams big club next season. Â Bailey, Baptiste should be taking notes.
Huckleberry
Seth Griffith did a thang  Out of all the young forwards being send down, he sure is a nice surprise. Bailey and Baptiste are losing ground.

LGR4GM
CJ Smith is the perfect example of why we shouldn't write off 19yr old Nylander.
GASabresIUFAN
Who is writing off Nylander? I wish Jbot will let him play for Sweden at World Jrs to help get his confidence.
