We can't thank Lauren Hall and the people at the Sabres enough for the way they have treated C.J. and all of us really. We kept it as a surprise for him that he was going to meet Jack so he was pretty speechless and shy for a few minutes, but Jack was unbelievable with him drawing him into a conversation. A few weeks ago we played a game in Buffalo and afterward we ate lunch with a parent from the other team. His niece is Jack's girlfriend. Anyway, he said that for Thanksgiving Jack comes over and he spends more time in the basement playing with the kids than he does hanging around with the adults upstairs. He's done this at every family get together he's been at apparently. He loves kids. This is just absolutely awesome that you had this all come together. So cool. Jack told CJ that he would look for him along the glass in pregame warm ups tonight... that's how awesome Jack is. He didn't have to say that, we didn't even mention that we'd be there for that (but we will be). So cool. Just an amazing few days! Attached is a photo of us wearing the tshirts I had made for the Road Crew event where we had several people ask us about buying them, we gave one to Jack so who knows what could happen in the future.
