Why expend energy on a game day with an early start time? They practiced in full yesterday. 
 

Game day skates are becoming a thing of the past.

Honestly i'm not sure.  My buddy reached out before the season to get a group - i'd imagine any ST holders get it but I'm not sure on anyone else.  Nothing was mailed out so i'd imagine you have to be there to get it, and you had to provide a size.

My Dearest Rachel,

I take pen in hand this evening by the dim light of a tallow candle, hoping this letter finds you and the children in good health and safe from all harm. It has been some days since last I wrote, for the fighting has been fierce and near constant, and the noise of the guns gives a man little peace to collect his thoughts.

The field here is a cruel sight, my love. I have seen men I marched beside since the first muster now lying silent upon the ground, and others borne to the rear with wounds so grave I scarcely can bear to look. Our company has been sorely tried — nearly half are down with wounds or sickness — yet those who remain stand firm, hearts fixed on the cause and the thought of home.

Still, we have not lost our spirit. Word came down yesterday that fresh troops are on the way from the North, and supplies, too. When we heard that Corporal Kesselring and Captain Greenway were en route, the men cheered loud enough to wake the heavens themselves.  The officers tell us that with these reinforcements we shall soon strike a final blow, and that the end of this terrible business may at last be in sight.

Kiss the children for me, and tell them their father fights so that they might grow up in a land  where the West of NY is feared and not a laughing stock of the other regimens.  Keep faith, my love — victory is near, and I shall soon hold you again.
