Like the Sabres' run it should have ended with glory. The follow on season was a letdown and the Bills are following suit. The lesson makes the Sabres' current "plan" all the more laughable. Instead of having a reasonable shot every year of winning a ticket to the dance, and every so often having a real shot at it, they choose to be one glorious Cup machine... in 2031.
