I think he's next in line to be eclipsed on the list of longest streaks in NHL history. If he passes Crosby he'll be 10th longest. Ahead of him I think is a 3 way tie at 28 games. My take, from 1950 till late nineties, goalies have very little changes in blocker, mitt, leg pads. There was an slow evolution in masks and body armor. From~ 1999 til now. Wow. Made the playoffs last year and are in the playoff race this year. 4-3-3 last 10. Maybe more than meets the eye here.
