If so, we can't sign him until tomorrow and that's the reason for the silence. I know the rookie cap is around $925,000 but I think incentives can go up to $3+ Mil correct? What leverage? All Murray has to do is say, "Okay enjoy college". Or he can say "Here is the max which has almost no affect on the team's cap." Eichel is turning pro. Y'all gotsta relax. I'll believe he's going back to BU when I see him miss opening day of training camp and not a day sooner. This'll be over by the end of the weekend. But I DO think Eichel wants to go back to college for another year. He just realizes that it's not the best option. People tend to look at things more black and white than they really are. It's entirely possible even at this point that he just doesn't know. He really, really, really wants to go back to BU, and he really, really, really wants to go to the NHL right now and make some money and play against the best and show he's better than McDavid.
