My mom is the kind of person who will dance anywhere no matter what. At a recent Mavis Staples convert, Mavis came over and shook my mom's hand mid song because she was the only person out of the 200+ audience on her feet dancing, The awkwardness doesn't matter in that performance because she's just living the energy of the song. There's snippets of other old songs in there like recurring themes/old memory threads that get cut abruptly- I don't know, I really like this one. Also, my, Thom is aging.
