The Sabres were shut out at home by the New York Rangers 4-0 on Thursday. Buffalo is without forwards Zach Benson and Josh Norris due to injury.

The Bruins are 2-0-0 after a 4-3 win in overtime over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday at TD Garden. Boston has scored a power play goal in both games this season.

How many shutout losses in a row does this team need to rack up before the coach/gm are fired?

If Power plays, that instantly makes the D pairings far better. Ik a lot are down on him but he's still a + player offensively and basically neutral defensively. I might give him Johnson instead of Timmins because Johnson can stay at home better than Timmins.

The forwards are rough. They really needed to add another piece but once again, Adams isn't good at his job and is terrible at imagining there could be an injury. That Doan line probably works if you substitute Helenius from 2027 into it, but alas.

How do other teams prepare better for injuries?  Serious question.  I've heard that we're awful at it and we suck when a key player(s) goes down. So obviously there's proof.  I just always thought the roster was so thin, every injury was exacerbated.

Is it that teams have a much better 13th or 14th forward on the roster, more/better vets in the AHL that can come right up, they'll sign a FA immediately?

Other teams add to their top 6. Imagine if we had added 1 top 6 piece, just 1.

I’m looking forward to it.  This is a good test of the team’s willingness to grind out a road win.  

I saw that Ellis is projected to start tonight.  I think Lyon should get another game.  

The top 6 is marginal already with McLeod and Quinn having to move up.  

Any timeline on Benson being ready?
