I can’t picture him being higher than that in a depth chart… but then again, there’s 2024-25. 1 Quote
JP51 Posted Saturday at 02:05 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:05 PM Can we just assume he is hurt and have folks let us know when he is back... cause he is pretty invisible in the ice despite being a large dude Quote

Then again, I’ll have to stop saying he was faking it if he missed so many games to actual injury after he left Buffalo. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted Saturday at 02:35 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:35 PM This is yet another fine outcome for Adams. This was the off-season to get out from under that contract; but as usual, Adams is slow to act and too dense to decide. Now we're stuck with a sub par-injury prone player that has essentially turned his back on the team and tucked his tail when we needed him last season. Bravo, truly Turd 1 1 Quote

Still I don’t think picture of health would ever be an apt descriptor of the man I met him once at a club here, shook his hand (actually true). He complained of a broken finger afterwords (not actually true) 2 hours ago, Wyldnwoody44 said: This is yet another fine outcome for Adams. That Aud Smell Posted Saturday at 05:13 PM Report Posted Saturday at 05:13 PM my pet theory - based on total speculation - is this: samuelsson doesn’t actually like being a pro hockey player. son of a very good nhl’er. he was big. moved reasonably well. got on the pro hockey development train. it’s a life that chose him, not the life he chose. he just seems so uncommitted. so equivocal. 1 1 Quote

Plays defense exactly how Power does, passively. Quote

Well put, they watch things happen instead of making things happen. Power has a bit of offensive skill, Mule has the skill and creativity of his pet name. Quote

Which seems to be exactly how they're coached to do so. (Not saying they necessarily would be more aggressive / better in their own end with actual coaching; but when the coaching is good with just trying to passively take away passing lanes, guys that are predisposed to that style won't be incentivized to adjust.) 1 Quote
Mr Peabody Posted Saturday at 05:50 PM Report Posted Saturday at 05:50 PM Start him in Rochester on an injury rehab designation and see if he can jump start himself against AHL rewards. Quote
SwampD Posted Saturday at 06:41 PM Report Posted Saturday at 06:41 PM I had high hopes for a bounce back from him this season, too. Man, early on, he just made so many plays that seemed so effortless and understated I though he was going to be a great one,… and then he got signed. He’s young enough for me to still have hope for him. 1 Quote

I don't ever remember Kassian being referred to as hard to play against. Dropping the gloves doesn't equate to that. Samuelsson was simply over hyped because of size and name recognition. Will Borgen is actually better than him, and Will is mediocre. The failure to assess their talent properly is a Sabres thing. Quote
Flashsabre Posted yesterday at 12:03 PM Report Posted yesterday at 12:03 PM I feel like Muel and Greenway are guys they could’ve moved on from. They could’ve let Johnson and Jones battle it out for 3rd LD and a fourth line combination of Beck/Geertsen Krebs/Kozak. Dunne would suit Lindy’s needs. Would save the team about $7 million to use elsewhere. Quote
Mustache of God Posted yesterday at 12:50 PM Report Posted yesterday at 12:50 PM It blows my mind that he still has an A on his jersey? captains don't need to be skill players, but I expect these guys to lead with their effort on the ice and I've never seen it from Mule. 1 1 Quote
