New Sabres goal song voting

This is everything Sabres. Pick 5 songs that barely anyone likes and don’t have a good hook. Leave the one from last year that we all kinda associate with losing and call it a day.  
 

This was a slam dunk. Almost every choice by Sabrespacers is better than the hot garbage they have to choose from.  How can a team be run this poorly?  A goal song should be a canonizing moment. Find something to get the fans juiced. 
 

What about that song about swords?  Sabres are swords. That sounds great. What’s the song like?  It sounds like it was written in the 1500’s. Perfect. 
 

What about that funky song by Cascada?  Evacuate the dance floor? Nope.  The Rythm of the Night?  Nope.  Glorious?  Nope. It’s Everytime we Touch.  Perfect song for this team that doesn’t hit anyone.  Gotcha. 
 

What about last years jam?  Kickstart my Heart.  Good song. Fires up the crowd. Also reminds everyone of last season’s failures.  Great.  Let’s go!

There is no such thing as a good goal song. Musical taste varies far too much from one person to the next. 
 

I would have just stuck with the players’ choice ones. That way, at least, you get to see a little character.

Goal song, team introduction song, or at ANY other point in the game, song; I just LOVE the aggression/tempo/thick AF bass line 

This rendition was born to be absolutely BLASTED out of giant subs, IMO 

Just an absolute adrenaline generating BANGER!!!

I get a kick out of this thread. No matter what other options might have been, there would be people to complain about them.

The swords song (at least the short clip that would be used for a goal song) is fine. I think it would be great to hear the arena singing along to that.

Of all the songs, I like his idea the least. Well, maybe second least because I don’t understand the Oasis song at all.

I gotta think the song that is in the lead is just fans of other teams voting to make us an even bigger laughing stock

how is that a goal song? Can you imagine a pro wrestler or a Football team coming out to this song?? 

I mean, shouldn't a goal song have emotion, aggression and want to fire people up ?

Not endorsing the song in the lead.  None of them are particularly good goal songs.

But Chelsea Dagger is a great goal song and can't see ANY teams coming out on the ice to it.  Just sayin'.

I thought about that the other day.  That seems to be really popular in the arena on Red and Black jersey days, so why not keep it all the time?

Its not like you have to only have it on '90's retro' days because its a 90's song.  Goal songs from teams are from all different eras. Just keep Blur as the goal song all the time.

I love Kickstart my heart, one of my favorite rock songs of all time, but its not a good 'goal song'. Its more of the song you play before the game starts, before the faceoff, coming out of the period. Leading into the game, leading into the powerplay. Kickstart my hear is a 'beginning' song, not a celebration song.

I went to two preseason games(freebies).  Doesn’t really matter what the goal song is, you get 3 or 4 deafening blasts of the stupid goal horn and then equally deafening 10-12 seconds of the goal song(barely discernible) which is then abruptly stopped for face-off.
