LTS Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 Lovely little arrogant touch at the end with the small print "you're welcome". MSG has some of the worst coverage of hockey... there's nothing "welcome" about it. 1 Quote
inkman Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 I was today years old when I learned the term “score bug”. Sounds like another term for genital lice. 1 3 1 Quote
That Aud Smell Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 it gave me a light ick that they were taking a snarky victory lap of sorts based on nothing more than providing an element of competent production value. 1 1 Quote
SabresBaltimore Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 original post seems to have been deleted. Hopefully they still plan to have shots and maybe opted for a less snarky post? Quote

That Aud Smell Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 not sure how different this is ... 1 Quote
Taro T Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 Now if they could just help with getting the shot counter at the rink to be accurate, that'd be great. Expecting that's an issue to be resolved another day. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 Should I mention that we give up more shots then we take? No probably not. Quote
matter2003 Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 They must have some of the most incompetent engineers in the country for it to have taken that long 1 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted Wednesday at 01:07 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 01:07 PM always innovative and cutting edge at MSG. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Caught some highlights of Detroit on MSG. That is a honkin' big and opaque bug. It covers a bunch of the ice. Given how the top of the hockey screen is often audience/benches (penalty boxes in Edmonton), shouldn't the bug be at the top of the screen? Quote

Ya this bothered me so much.... and there will 100 percent be a time where this huge banner hides a key play It truly boggles the mind that they could put it where it is Quote

I don't believe the pre-season games are MSG...so I'd expect that's not the score bug we'll see during the regular season. 1 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago This has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. FINALLY, I can now watch how few SOG’s we get on the power play in real time!!!🙃 1 Quote

That "big and opaque bug" is actually the ribbon board below the jumbotron (or whatever the monstrously big TV is officially called) that has the stats shown in rink. Would have money on it that isn't the MSG "score bug" we'll see when they start broadcasting the RS games. 1 Quote
