DeBoer would be a great coach for this team. Great record except for not getting a Cup - he's due. Unfortunately, there is NFW the Sabres hire him. I'm sure DeBoer will have a new job by the end of the weekend.

Every vacancy has been filled and if Sabres aren't moving, who by the end of weekend? Not being a smart ass to your post, he has cycled through a lot of teams already. Only team I could see would be the Isles, new GM gave Roy approval but now?

The Sabres wouldn’t hire the very best coach in the entire world, even if that coach begged TP and KA to hire him.  They are committed to naming Seth Appert as the next HC….whenever Lindy is done.  It’s sad, but inevitable.

I get it. I wouldn’t want to be criticized on National TV. But these players are making millions and there needs to be accountability. It’s not the coach out on the ice letting teams score on him. Yet, such public criticism wouldn’t be tolerated in the corporate world. But, again, these players are the public face of the team and they are compensated extremely well. Grow a pair.

Add Stone to LTIR and they can sign Bennett too.
