Don't care how just win baby, 1-0, 2-1, 3-2,,,, Play a solid defensive minded road game, wait for the chances and bury them.

Of course Detroit is rested and expect to throw the kitchen sink at us to end their slump, but lets not let that pass.

Let' go Buff-a-lo. Next win streak starts tonight...

It does.  But it is also an opportunity for them to demonstrate to themselves that they aren't the same frail team that stumbled through the 2nd half of last season.

The '06-'07 team had several goals, the 1st of which was to never lose 2 games in a row.  Doubt this team is talented enough to do that as long as that other team did (1st 2 games vs the Otters was the 1st time it happened all year) but it should be a goal of theirs to not lose 2 in a row any more (and considering that they haven't done so yet, to never let it happen at present).

Expecting Scandella will be out with whatever upper lower body injury (hammy or groin) he suffered last night and Vesey could also miss.  So, they'll be facing some adversity which will help keep the overconfidence to a minimum.  Don't know how it'll work out but know they'll be much more focused tonight.

This is a good post.  To me the first San Jose game also had those makings and the Sabres kicked ass.  I have trust in Kreuger.  Sabres are bouncing back tonight.

The problem with coming in to Detroit tonight is that they've lost 6 in a row. Just by the odds they are well over-due for a win. Never a good situation for a team looking to bounce back from a drubbing the previous night.

This could be a wild one.

We can only hope so!

Sabres confirm Vesey and Scandella out tonight

I wonder who'll get the left side on Mitts wing?? It'll be a bit of a kick in the gonads for Gilmour to sit again after being the 7th D this whole time.

This is THE game for me.   If they play well, then I'll be convinced this year will be different and they'll at least challenge for a playoff spot.

If they look dis-interested, loose defensively... then I believe they'll be on the outside looking in again this season.

It's a team they should beat, they're coming off a poor performance, and have 2 days rest ahead of them.    There is absolutely no excuse to not show up.
