Thorny
Yea, makes me think he had Nylander above all the D. Good deal. In Buffalo in a year, I think. Yup. That is very well thought out. You need to shotgun another Fairer words have never been spoken. I'm on it. For realz.
Eleven
I'd say it's more of a case of the former. Murray strikes me as a best player available kind of guy. GO SABRES!!! Maybe he is, but he up today.
darksabre
I mean, he's no Drew Stafford.
Esoomer
Can't help but think that Kane's continued issues had a small part in making this pick easier for GMTM if it was close on his board.
Randall Flagg
Maybe he is, but he ###### up today. Your boy isn't very good, Eleven.
Winston
I read a scouting report on here a while back, I can't remember who wrote it, but the author seemed to think that Nylander could be/should be a 40 goal scorer. How many OT losses did we incur? After watching that video, he's going to put pucks in the net in shoot outs. He's got the hands and stick handling ability to just make goalies look silly. Watching some of his shootout highlights, I think: Patrick Kane.
WildCard
Who did you want, Eleven?
Claude_Verret
Nylander should have been gone. He wasn't. Thanks other teams! Yes. BPA. You don't pass on elite guys.
Thorny
I really think we are set at forward, now. Eichel and Reinhart, O'Reilly and Kane, Nylander and...well, hopefully Ennis. Kane - O'Reilly - Reinhart Ennis - Eichel - Nylander (In a few years. Or something like that.) Edited June 25, 2016 by Thorny
TrueBlueGED
Maybe he is, but he ###### up today. Chychrun still hasn't been taken. There a reason. And that reason is loosely related to you not showing up at Big Ditch.

K-9
How many pullups did Chychrun do at the combine? GO SABRES!!!
kas23
I really think we are set at forward, now. Eichel and Reinhart, O'Reilly and Kane, Nylander and...well, hopefully Ennis. Kane - O'Reilly - Reinhart Ennis - Eichel - Nylander (In a few years. Or something like that.) I think Kane is going to be one way or another. Plus, there's Vesey. beerme1
Regardless of Nylander's D skill, we can afford to have a more offensive style player. We have plenty of two-way forwards. However I rather of taken Sergachev. This is me.
threadbare
i'm happy with this pick..... i really wanted sergachev but nylander was my second choice....
apuszczalowski
Thats what we said about Grigorenko to :P And look at what Grigs turned into for the Sabres......
kas23
OK. If you go to the Buffalo News webpage, you'll see the Nylander story as the top story. There is a photo of presumably our pick Nylander wearing a Sabres hat and sweater. But who if the other guy is the hat and jersey?
SDS
Chychrun still hasn't been taken. There a reason. And that reason is loosely related to you not showing up at Big Ditch. It's worse than that. He was authorized to provide you guys with free beer.
nfreeman
Can play either wing. 200 foot game and elite offensive skill. I'm so happy. IIRC, you've been lobbying for Nylander for a while, yes? So you're accountable for this one?
WildCard
So can he play in Rochester? Sorry if I missed it

Brawndo
GMTM must have really wanted him James Duthie Verified account@tsnjamesduthie Ottawa tried to trade up to Buffalo's spot to get Sergachev. When that didn't happen, they were very happy to move up to 11 to get Brown.
WildCard
Awesome info, thanks Brawndo. Makes me feel a lot better knowing we wanted Nylander Edited June 25, 2016 by WildCard
