Does any other team in sports have a word on their uniform that isn't the city name or team name? The Golden State Warriors used to have "The City" uniforms in the 60s and early 70s. They do all this summer thinking and study and GM meetings and such and decide to do the dry scrape, then scrap it (sorry) 20 games into the season. The definition of winging it, garage league-style. Did no one anticipate that there would be a delay while the ice was scraped? If humans with shovels works just as well and is quicker, why wasn't that the plan in the first place?
