Doohickie Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I don't think Krebs is a first liner by any stretch of the imagination, but he injected some good energy into Tage's line tonight. 1 2 Quote

Believer Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago We played well until the dreaded last minute of regulation. Took control in OT Never gave up possession. Team on a mission. Tuch was a man on a mission Bravo Sabres. That’s it for me. Goodnight Catch you all Thursday. 1 Quote

Hawerchuk Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Man, this was the most frustrating win I’ve witnessed in a long time. The officiating was absolute garbage tonight!! 1 1 Quote

So they’re cool with a goalies leg being taken out after the starter is already gone due to a blatant running and head shot. Good to know. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Well they almost blew it when Edmonton started going to the net in the 3rd but thankfully they can play 3 on 3. Doan deserves to be on a better hockey team. Quinn deserves to stay on this dumpster fire for his whole career. He is the embodiment of everything wrong with the Sabres. Savoie ain't much. Edmonton isn't as good as last year. If they make the playoffs I doubt they go on another long cup run. I expect them to lose to Seattle. idk about Vancouver, they aren't very good either. Haven't watched them so not sure how they play. Quote

mjd1001 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I think the loss to Calgary 'broke me' for this season. I watched last nights game (missed most of the first period but saw the rest) Im happy they won, at least on the surface. But when they scored the game winning goal, I had almost zero emotional reaction. In my mind I could possibly muster a "yay" but it didn't feel like anything. I'm going to rewatch the replay of the game today, like I usually do when I have time. But, its just like I felt the most 'anger' this year with the team after the loss to the flames, and the most 'indifference' after a win last night. I guess this is right about the time of the year per usual they get me to that point. Quote
LGR4GM Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago So they didn't win in regulation? Ruff pretty mad at the reffing. Quote

Lyon's leg was hooked/impeded by an Oiler just prior to the tying goal at 19:59 and he was out of position because of it. But, y'know, that's legal if McJesus's team does it I guess. Quote
Weave Posted 56 minutes ago Report Posted 56 minutes ago What happened to Ellis? Did I hear possible concussion? Quote
Archie Lee Posted 53 minutes ago Report Posted 53 minutes ago I enjoyed the game. I still like the players. I don’t think they are a collection of losers. I think they have been collectively placed in a near impossible situation. So when they win a game and it is clear that they are getting to experience some joy and satisfaction, I like that. 1 Quote
RETURNTOGLORY Posted 6 minutes ago Report Posted 6 minutes ago All my years watching hockey, and the goal reversal call and the way it was an " after thought" was something I've never seen. That was a screw job! Quote
