Good to see Rousek up for another shot, but hopefully Tuch is nothing serious (and hopefully nothing at all).  If Biro took Benson's spot, does Rousek take Comrie's spot?  I'm not sure how all of the injury designations have been handled.

Officially, most likely.  This puts them with a more standard 14-7-2.  Probably a combination of reward to Rousek and also insurance if Tuch can't go tomorrow night.

Doubt they'd call him up just to sit him, so am expecting that if Tuch can go tomorrow that Jost is out of the lineup and if he can't then Olofsson is the only odd man out.

Wonder if Olofsson gets any more games as a Sabre?

It’s almost like he didn’t even play last game

Umm, probably because he didn't.

I’m not the bonehead not paying attention to the Sabres lineup

I'd like to see the captain take a seat for a few games and see someone like Rousek replace him in that 4th line role.

Including Tonight’s Game, Okposo is six games away from 1000 played. He will hit that mark at Home on November 14th against Boston. I imagine KO doesn’t sit until after that goal is achieved.

What do you think the chances are of that happening?

Not much at this point.

I do not want to root for Okposo to do poorly, but if we go another month or two and his play is the same, or worse, I have to imagine at some point they may consider a change, even if it is just giving him a few more 'veteran rest days off'.

Good point.
I want to see him sit but there are probably plans around that date.
