We played that period like it was a practice session… Passing it around… la de da… Just missing their favorite songs… No move to the net… Forwards not engaged… Too many long shots… Not intimidating a rookie goaltender playing his fifth game… After two straight losses, Granato should be furious…

I honestly still don’t know if I like the direction management is taking us. I don’t see any difference so far. Waiting for the kids to develop will take many more years. I just don’t have much more stomach for it.

You don't agree with the Buy Time to Avoid Accountability management method?

It should have been obvious with so much youth injected in to the line up at one time that they were going need time to mature. Buffalo has no real veteran skill or veteran body forwards. Nothing against Girgs or Okposo, but they aren't going to lead these kids to successful seasons. Just my view is all.

I agree with Mike Harrington.

Is this one of those rules that the NHL made up but didn't disseminate to the clubs?

"When Brett Hull scored his series-clinching goal in triple overtime of game six, his foot was in the crease but the puck was not. During the middle of the season, the NHL sent out a memo clarifying the "skate in the crease" rule that allowed goals in instances where the goalscorer established possession of the puck prior to entering the crease."

It was disseminated. To clubs and media.
