Wow.

If that's how you feel, then all the best to you. However, I have a feeling that this conversation may be revisited soon, and you may be forced to eat some humble pie.

You're delusional dude. I'll gladly eat humble pie when this team turns it around. I don't see it happening in the next 5 years.

I'd give the draft a B- or a B. I think they left value on the board.

before anyone freaks out, this is a right now opinion.

Tomorrow will be fun to see if they've rid themselves of the CHL bias

Power and Rosen huh?  Not who I would have gone with in either case, but it’s not so bad.

People said this draft is kind of a crap shoot.  Rosen was often ranked in the 20-25 range it seems.  I’m fine with it really.  It’s a high upside swing.  This guy has the potential to be a dynamic offensive weapon.

Everyone needs to understand that he was playing small minutes in an AHL quality league as a 17 year old.  If he had been playing in a junior league, he would have lit it up.

Honestly after the top 9 skaters this draft is a crapshoot.   I would have taken Lysell (he fell to 21) if they wanted a RW, but my guess is teams are going with guys they have the best info on given the crazy scouting year last season.

I agree.  Also, Rosen was ranked at 18 on McKenzie’s final scout survey board, so it’s not even like at 13 he was a big reach vs general scouting opinion.

I have 3 ballots that had him at 16, one at 17 and three at 18.  No not a huge reach and I suspect they had info that they were comfortable with.
