They've mentioned a couple times of the travel time perhaps affecting their play tonight. If we've been off the past few days why wouldn't they get to St Louis yesterday instead? It's not like they had to play a game the night before.

Oh well crappy game. Thanks for the support Sabrespace ?

NHL rules.  Cannot travel until today.  The official Christmas break ended yesterday.

No panic trades.  He is going to be patient with the farm talent.  I do not see them making any big moves in season.  I could be wrong.

Wasn't suggesting a trade. But Botterill has dangled the Amerk in front of the fans several times now. It's on the cruel side.

After this kind of effort / result I would hope for some kind of shake-up. Mitts and TT need to spend some QT in Roch-cha-cha. Would have been nice for Botterill to not trade away our 2C for a bag of pucks.

Yeah, Botterill has really done a poor job.

No one is Rochester is going to meaningfully improve our middle 6. Botterill knows this and that's part of why he's not bothering with call-ups.

They did have the longest flight by nine minutes of teams that traveled today and they And Vancouver were the only two teams that had to fly to a different time zone.

Still it can’t be an excuse

Agreed. St. Louis sucks. Win the hockey game.

Not an excuse, but poor work by the NHL schedulers to have teams play today that have a bit of a distance to travel. Either change the 'travel ban' to the day before they play or schedule only close teams to play today, most teams have other teams close enough that they dont have to travel far to play.....
