Maybe. But with a loss tonight, they're 4-6-3 since the streak. A decent sample size. If this is who they really are, they absolutely will miss. They still strike me as a team that doesn’t have a killer instinct and maybe doesn’t realize they’re not nearly a safe bet for the playoffs even with that 10 game streak. Perfect example was the Philly loss where they got a 2-0 lead and then completely stopped trying and ended with a blowout loss. I know its been mentioned in other threads but its a glaring need for one. But with Berglunds departure idk how he can't make a move if we're close to making the post season. It's the kind of situation where you need every player giving max effort every night just to have a chance, especially the top line. Which can really grind you down. Jack is elite and with Skinner we have an elite top line. But... losing O’Reilly set us back. We need a second line center to drive play. Mitts is years away yet.
