Stads
Which player would you have most wanted to see win a Cup as a Sabre? I'm in my early thirties so the great teams from the 70's don't really resonate with me. I would probably pick Hasek. He was the first player I attached myself to as I started watching hockey. I was in constant awe of his talents and it was definitely bittersweet seeing him win that first Cup in Detroit.
Jeanbe
Don Luce and Craig Ramsay. I didn't get to watch many of the Sabres games when I left BFLO in 88 so I missed much of the Hasek era, the Drury Briere era, etc., and now that I have Center Ice I can watch. Doohickie
Hasek was a mercenary; he won his Cup.
SwampD
Lindy Ruff, but as coach.

Drunkard
Forget players, I'm going with the Knox brothers If it extends to non- players the one and only choice is Jeanneret. For players I'd go with Hasek, then probably Miller.

LabattBlue
The face of the franchise for the first 17 years of their existence, and arguably the greatest and most popular Sabre of all time...the one and only Gilbert Perreault. /thread
