PromoTheRobot Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Ruff speaking with the morning show, discussing a viral ailment Zucker is dealing with. Hasn't eaten solid for in 9 days, lost a lot of weight, doctors still haven't figured out what it is exactly. Even when he's over it, the weight loss and weakness will take a long time to overcome. Oy vey. I can't link this interview from my phone but it's in the 9am hour of today's show. Edited 7 hours ago by PromoTheRobot 2 Quote

Ctaeth Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I feel for Zucker & all the other players that are out... but it's getting comical at this point Quote
Pimlach Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago They finally find a veteran that wants to help this mess of a franchise, can still play the game, that keeps a cool head, and that can play on any of the top 3 lines and fit in. And now this. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Adams was hired as an assistant coach in August 2011 (after the Sabres made their run to the playoffs ... and lost v. Leino). They have been cursed ever since. Clearly, the only fix is to fire Adams and eliminate him entirely from the franchise. Pegula needs to sacrifice his friend to the hockey gods. 2 1 Quote

I'm not saying its viral meningitis by any means, but whatever he's got is pretty damn serious. 1 1 Quote
Palm Trees And Taxes Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Terrible news to hear that Zucker is going through that, hoping they find out what it is. It's hard to get mad at this team right now considering all that is happening 2 Quote

There is a sublte difference between an 'excuse' and a 'reason'. One should shy away from using them as an 'excuse', meaning to excuse their poor performance. However, in evaluating 'what went wrong', they can be brought up as a reason to not be discarded. 2 Quote

It's Ruff's fault McKee's shin pads weren't clean? Really? Quote

I doubt their immediate staff has doctors that specialize in sudden unusual blood clots or serious viral illnesses. Those would likely require the player to be sent to a specialist. Quote

If Zucker needs an ENT or a Hematologist, he's getting into one probably that day or next.... The team docs 1000% have connections...Buffalo actually does have a good subspecialty force as well for being a "smaller" city. The fact that he probably has seen said specialist and still have no diagnosis concerns me a bit more. 1 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Yes, I would think they get to the front of the line or go to the private clinic or whatever. Quote
