And I feel like that would be such a huge change we would have heard it reported. We are talking age 26 or 6 accrued seasons to UFA status which is big for hockey.

Also Puckpedia still lists his UFA status as 2027.

I feel like the cap sites would be on top of that change if it was happening.

Which is why I was saying he's not a UFA for 2 more seasons; but IF the CBA has that change, well ...

(And personally agree, that that is the sort of change that SHOULD be considered a big deal if it actually was/is made.)

You have 7 days from the signing of an offer sheet by the player.  So unless Adams is an idiot he needs to be pressured to get off his ass and not actually ***** things up AGAIN.

I think it is more likely that TSN did sloppy research and Yerdon probably just regurgitating that than Puckpedia and all the public info out there is wrong about when Byram becomes a UFA.

Is someone allowed to trade a player that has been offer sheeted to a 3rd team? If so, do they then become the “owner” of the offer sheeted player?

Are you going to tell me with a straight face that Ryan Dickman can’t be trusted to break that??

Hey, don't be a dick, man.

KA is paralyzed at this point regarding Byram.  Between Pegula whispering in his ear, and knowing the other GM’s are going to rob him blind, he is relegated to staring at the wall with a tear in his eye, and afraid to pickup the phone.

Take him out on a stretcher and battlefield jarmo - he should be making the call anyways!

He may be a Dickman, but he's R. Dickman.

He’s too busy looking for another RHD

Id say St Louis has the most interesting assets of that bunch.  The Kings signing Ceci and filler seem on the outs.  Calgary is interesting.   I dont see Vegas as sensible at all.

Vegas lost 2 good defencemen: Hague and Pietrangelo.

Not sure where they are in terms of cap, but it’s tight. They are forward heavy at the moment and probably want to juggle things.

The potential interest should be there. Not sure what they’d be willing to give up though.
