That has been my opinion for a while. Had a few arguments here that even in the past, the OL, WR group, basically everything on this team is, and has been in the past...at best a borderline playoff team with an 'average' qb instead of Allen. The OL thing is the one that always drove me crazy...the last couple years most people have said they are one of the top 5 in the league. I don't see it. Quote
LGR4GM Posted Friday at 11:34 AM Report Posted Friday at 11:34 AM I don't follow the nfl draft much, but I do have a friend who's big into it. He says this is a decent wr draft with some talent that would be available in the 1st. He likes Chris Bell. Quote
Night Train Posted Friday at 11:54 AM Report Posted Friday at 11:54 AM Too many injuries and not a big fan of the play calling. Need a lot of help entering next year. Allen can only do so much. Quote
Scottysabres Posted Friday at 02:40 PM Report Posted Friday at 02:40 PM Sometimes you just run in to a better defense. It is what it is, I’m not reading much in your this loss. Quote
#freejame Posted Friday at 03:25 PM Report Posted Friday at 03:25 PM The Bills won’t win a Super Bowl under McBeane —> Terry won’t hire anyone better —> The Bills won’t win a Super Bowl with Pegula as owner The Bills problems aren’t Terrys fault per se, but they are McDermott’s and Beane’s and that’s been clear to see for several seasons now. Fire McDermott and see what Beane can do working for what’s best for Josh and not what’s best for McDermott’s defense. 1 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted Friday at 03:37 PM Report Posted Friday at 03:37 PM #onebuffalo strikes again Let's see if we can make it a #onebuffalo hat trick tonight with our oh so lovely hockey team. Thanks for being a great buzz kill going into the weekend. Yay team. Quote
Pimlach Posted Friday at 03:47 PM Report Posted Friday at 03:47 PM 8 sacks. Countless QB pressures. Allen with no designed run plays to slow them down. Allen on QB draws could have slowed the defense down. A fourth quarter 4th and 1 and they call a slow developing backfield handoff to Cook for a loss. A final drive 3rd and 1 screen pass that gets deflected by a DT. offside on 4th and 1 with the game on the line - that play was a pass. A simple tush push on any of these plays and the drive for points continue. They had timeouts available. Both Bills offensive tackles were playing hurt and getting abused by the best DE combos in the league. Never once did I see a Bills TE or RB help them by chipping the DE to buy Allen more pocket time. Joe Brady’s play calling has been figured out, Miami stopped this offense so you knew Texas was going to be tough. Brady is showing us he is not up to it. OC is my first move. Go outside for his replacement. There are other problems too but the easy fix is 5he OC and a top notch WR for the offense. The defense needs a lot more help. Five good players from the past are no longer performing. Milano can barely move, he misses tackles and is done. Tre White is a liability. Terrell Bernard is struggling. Taron Johnson seems worn out too. Poyer is a desperate patch at Safety. Then there is the DL that never improves despite all the draft capital spent there 1 1 Quote

RETURNTOGLORY Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Beane has been HORRID as far as #1 picks go! Elam and now possibly Coleman being busts? He should be Drawn & Quarterd just for not providing a WR1 for Josh alone! Quote

Fire McDermott and see what Beane can do working for what’s best for Josh and not what’s best for McDermott’s defense. I agree about them not having much of a chance for a championship under "McBeane," especially the "Mc" part. If the Bills were in any big market city like NYC, Philly, LA, SF, Dallas, etc, McDermott would have been fired quite some time ago. He more than often gets out coached, especially in close games, and in some cases even when we win he is still out coached. Maybe the only reason McDermott still has his job is because Josh Allen can make any average coach look good. That and because we're a small market city where the media just doesn't put enough pressure on ownership to make a necessary change. As far as Beane, yeah he did great drafting Josh Allen, but for what he's let happen to our corps of wide receivers, he can go too. Even the crappy teams at least have receivers who can get open. All too often when Josh is able to scramble out of the pocket looking for someone for what seems like an eternity, they still can't get open. It's so sad see a superstar quarterback not have the weapons he needs most. It's a miracle that Josh still does what he does with what he has to work with. As far as Brady I can't tell if he'll ever come close to being the elite play caller that so many people thought he would be. Hopefully he will, but everything has become way too predictable. Every team in the NFL has figured it out that James Cook will most likely run on first and ten regardless of the situation. Ugh. Quote

Ctaeth Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago ESPN's latest power rankings puts the pats at #2 and bills at #10. Feels valid given how the teams have performed thus far in the regular season. In a must-win or playoff game though, if I was a betting man, I would still take the Bills to win it. 1 1 Quote

Scottysabres Posted 20 minutes ago Report Posted 20 minutes ago There is no debating the turn of events leading to the Bills being a contender under Beane and McDermott. To be frustrated with events these past 5 seasons is perfectly reasonable, were fans and we wear our team passion on our sleeves proudly. But putting the humorous comments aside, those that are raging, showing pure anger, I implore you to show strong support for the Bills leadership team. Be critical, but do so productively. After all, they are a part of the team that has brought us to contender status. GO BILLS!!! Quote
