SabresBaltimore Posted November 1, 2023 Report Share Posted November 1, 2023 (edited) The 4-5-0 Sabres head into Philly tonight for the first game of a home and home with the 4-4-1 Flyers. The Flyers will head to Buffalo to face the dreaded Goat head on Friday night for game 2. If the Sabres win tonight they'll move to .500 on the season. The expectation is that UPL will get the start, and Levi may return to the line-up as the backup. I haven't seen word on that yet however. They can get on a roll and assert themselves as an eastern conference contender with a good November. Dahlin will continue his points streak, getting 2. I am curious to see if their better defensive approach continues, giving UPL more support, Levi should be ready to back up. I think this is a real, early-season test for the boys. This game means something: .500 after 10, which would be an acceptable place to be. Equally important is that if they can take the last game and apply their play in it to this game.
