Getting blown out 7-0, 6-1, etc to close out the year burns a lot of goodwill built with the gains we saw for over the first 3/4 of the season. Maybe it's that we're a very young team that just isn't ready for the pressure cooker of a playoff race. That's fine if you're at least competitive.
