Maybe he was frustrated after being temporarily banned for a post in a thread we were told would not be moderated, when others had certainly said worse, before and after. He was also suspended for posting something 'bigoted' by a mod who often posts things that many would perceive as being bigoted. If I'm not mistaken, he has also been accused of driving away other posters. I wouldn't blame him if he left, but the board is worse off without his humor and contrarian points of view.
