Hoss
Eric Staal not at the Canes morning skate. Team says he's sick. Ladd was "sick" yesterday or the day before and missed the Jets morning skate. I love this time of the year. Vancouver TSN reporter: Hearing that #Blackhawks have serious interest in Hamhuis & Vrbata. No word yet on whether Hamhuis is willing to waive NTC. #Canucks Edited February 25, 2016 by Hoss
Sabres Fan in NS
Who wouldn't waive for a chance to go to the Hawks. I mean, really?

His name and face alone give me the grumpy cat face.

Hoss
Andrew Ladd traded to the Blackhawks. The rich get richer, per Dreger.

Brawndo
Blackhawks will deal a 1st round pick, a conditional pick and Marko Dano to the Jets for Ladd.
Hoss
Mario Dano, a first and a conditional pick to Winnipeg for Andrew Ladd, Andrew Harrison and Fraser. Edited February 26, 2016 by Hoss

Hoss
The conditional pick going to Winnipeg in the Ladd deal is a 3rd rounder in 2018 if Hawks win the Cup.
Huckleberry
dano + a 1st wow. Jets retain 36% of the salary. Guess the hawks are done :D Edited February 26, 2016 by Huckleberry
TrueBlueGED
Man, good thing that salary cap keeps holding them back Hey, if you have a way to get me a Norris caliber defenseman and Selke caliber forward for $10 million combined I'm all ears ;) Blackhawks will deal a 1st round pick, a conditional pick and Marko Dano to the Jets for Ladd. Hell of a deal for Winnipeg.
Brawndo
The Jets retain 36% of Ladd's Salary and the Hawks have 1.4 million left on the cap for the trade deadline. They are totally getting Stamkos in a last minute change of heart for Stevie Y aren't they? Scratch that, #Blackhawks are at $318,315 in projected end of season cap space, $1.48M with Harrison's $100k buried on the books. Huckleberry
Well, there goes the Blackhawks as a suiter for McGinn. Nashville will pony up a 1st, just watch :p Isn't hossa injured ? I think they could make this work if they keep him on LTIR untill the playoffs like they did with kane last year.
thewookie1
I would not be surprised at all now if Dallas/Nashville/St.L trade a 1st for McGinn now. P.A Parenteu and Dale Weise could possibly fetch the same now as well. Thanks Chicago, you opened the flood gates.

Per General Fanager The Hawks could send Artemi Panarin & Artem Anisimov to Tampa which would get them close money wise. They would likely have to throw in a Marcus Kruger to even out the money. It can be done. Not saying I would make this deal in it's current form, just pointing out a team like the Hawks who are looking to win a Cup this season could easily add Stamkos if they desired. Ducky
Chevy swings a pretty good deal for Ladd with Dano and a first and also gets rid of two contracts he didn't want. There is only around 1.1m left on Ladd's contract and Chicago will only have to pay about 700k of it. They're saying Dano will be in the lineup Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh. He still has one year left on his ELC and scored 21 points in 35 games with CBJ.
