So a young woman asking if what happened was all legend or true, and him explaining they're all true, isn't too unbelievable. It's like me asking my grandfather if all the stories his army buddy's tell me are true, to which he'll reply "of course..." I figured that's what the line was. I still think it's clumsily written trailer fodder. How does he know that ALL the stories she heard are true? Wouldn't a universe this big have a lot of false information and stories being spread? I get that she's a historian or whatever going onto old crashed ships looking for stuff, but it sounds so much like Han is talking directly to us. "All those stories are true." But, at least from what I've read, there's been little discussion of the what ifs. As in will an original character go down in this movie? Hope it's not Han. That's just my thought. Can wear whatever you want, but you're not allowed to wear a mask, makeup or bring a blaster. Now, a few have arrived holding their helmets or mask. They then asked if they could have a picture taken. That has been allowed all night. They are told they cannot wear the mask after the pic. A guy dressed up was escorted out of the theatre. Don't know why. Maybe because he wouldn't follow the dress code or was he dumb enough to record or take pics of the movie? He looked like he was in deep shitt. A police officer was involved. The second Abrams Star Trek was a great ride and added to the much needed adrenaline injection that franchise needed. The Star Trek franchise (mainly the spin offs) were pseudo intellectual dreck. Have you seen the trailers you're panning? You know this Star Wars story HAS to occur in the Star Wars universe, using the Star Wars narrative, right? There have to be TIE fighters, there have to be X wings, and there has to be the Force. Of course there have to be Jedi. Without the Star Wars icons and canon, it's just another space war movie. I want the opposite direction Lucas took the franchise after episode 6. Just like I wanted the opposite direction for the Star Trek franchise instead of the way it went after Wrath of Khan. I could nit pick it apart but overall it was really fun. It felt way more "Star Wars" than the prequels which was good. Nothing will ever compare to the feeling we all had as little kids watching the original trilogy and opening our toys or SW themed gifts, but this is pretty awesome. I'm really looking forward to watching this again today without 'being in my head' the whole time analyzing everything. Go check it out and just take it for what it is... FUN!!!!!
