Andrew Amerk
If you needed more reason to dislike Jack Edwards, read this article, especially the last paragraph on the first page and the first paragraph on the second page: http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/highschool/article/Scott-Ericson-Power-of-clicks-New-Canaan-s-6133059.php#page-1 Clicked link, says no article exists? TrueBlueGED
Anybody got a cold? Willing to sneeze on Lindback? If we get to the point where Arizona passes us, I'd be willing to voluntarily contract the flu (sorry CV for butchering the science) and try to infect the team. Yea but Lindback isn't american so he probably believes that Vaccines aren't the work of the devil.

LGR4GM
Yea, but the shot wasn't that good this year! yea only about 40% effective was the last report I saw.
MattPie
yea only about 40% effective was the last report I saw. That seems unlikely, as more than half the people I know haven't gotten the flu. I might be reading that statistic wrong though. :)
LTS
The Sabres never did get the mumps.. perhaps it's time they return?
LGR4GM
That seems unlikely, as more than half the people I know haven't gotten the flu. I might be reading that statistic wrong though. :) So basically they pick the strains of influenza that go into the shot each season. Some seasons the get it wrong. I just looked up this seasons stats which usually come out at the end of February or early March when the flu season begins to end. "When VE against all influenza viruses was combined, the overall VE estimate was 19% (95% CI: 7%– 29%). In practical terms, this means the flu vaccine reduced a person’s risk of having to seek medical care at a doctor’s office for flu illness by 19%." http://www.cdc.gov/flu/news/updated-vaccine-effectiveness-2014-15.htm If you got the vaccine it reduced the likelihood of you having to go to the doctor because of fl by 19%. Most years it is much higher but this year they got it wrong. It was the worst year since 2005.
