That's chilling. Gillis overplayed his hand with Luongo last year, and well they are a mess. With only our current #1 in 2014 at present, I hope that get at least one more for Moulson.

This is interesting from Michael Russo Star Tribune

Stafford Info

My gut says the Wild makes another to try to get better. I do hear the Wild has had ongoing discussions with Buffalo about Drew Stafford, Jason Pominville's former teammate and Zach Parise's teammate from Shattuck-St. Mary's and North Dakota.

Did you really think I was in my teens though?

It's poetic license for a joke. I'm guessing 19-23....you are in school, right?

I thought you had moved beyond the ridiculous stage of accusing front office guys of being pedophiles. Oh well.

I guess you haven't read the news the past few weeks.....

Interesting. I would think that's dead now. Maybe could have or did try to do Halak and Stafford. Oh well.

Hopefully not, we will find out soon enough!

Awfully quiet on the Halak front. Sabres may have priced themselves out of a solid return. Do the Caps take a chance? Limited options now.

Bruins not interested in Christian Ehrhoff.

I don't mind. We didn't need another 3rd rounder. Either try to package him and get more, or let him walk

Everyone who scoffs at the notion of the Sabres acquiring or needing additional picks in Round 3 or later should consider that the Sabres had THREE second round picks in 2013 (Compher, Hurley, Bailey) and they're all being outplayed this year by the guy we drafted in Round 3 (Nick Baptiste). And our fifth round pick (Gustav Possler) was off to a tremendous start as well before his injury.

Draft picks are lotto tickets. You want as many as you can get.

Hopefully we can still get *something* for Halak.
