And Timmons with almost 25 minutes of ice time. More than Power. Within 16 seconds of Dahlin.

I wonder if he ever had close to that many minutes in a regualtion game?

Interesting Zucker only had just over 11 minutes.  I hope he didn't have an injury that caused them to limit his minutes.

Possession numbers like Fenwick, shots and Corsi show one of the best players on the ice tonight was Dylan Cozens regarding possession. One of the worst was Zach Benson.  Possession does not really matter much if the guy who is losing that battle is helping to create goals for.

Dylan Cozens takes a lot of shots... they just suck and don't accomplish anything. 

Zach Benson creates a lot of chances. On the McLeod goal, Benson is by the net but sees McLeod so instead of doing what any other normal person would, skating behind the net and feeding McLeod, Benson fires the pass behind the goalie while going behind the net which creates an extra second before the goalie pushes to stop the wrap around. It's brilliant.

I noticed early on he was uncharacteristically engaged. He took a few shots at Giroux during that scrum and headlock/face washed another in front is the Sabres net later.

Josh Doan looks like a real middle 6 piece, I wish I knew that at the time of the JJP trade

The hustle and effort from Doan, Benson and McLeod tonight was terrific. Need to see more of that, from more players and more consistently

Benson brings it every night, it’ll be nice to have him back. Greenway does similarly in a less skilled way, he’ll be very much welcomed as well. Not saying that Greenway is a game breaker by any means, but he’s criminally underrated in what he does contribute
