There is the new mantra for next season: “Team Strength”. Team didn’t make the playoffs because players weren’t strong enough. Run it back with each player a little stronger and we are looking at a Cup.😝😁

They already started with their "conditioning" nonsense. They lose because they have a piss poor defense and a gm unwilling to be aggressive and make changes who sounds like Eeyore every time he talks.

As many of us suggested, this year’s scapegoat is conditioning. Last year the players needed accountability. This year they need to be in better shape.

Apparently. I feel bad because I called for it to be sent to the glue factory. I thought it should be closed, not deleted, and replaced with something better, like LGR's thread today. Even breaking out the Ed Gannon news was a good move. Fresh meat.

Watching the intensity of SC playoff hockey, doubt our roster could have competed had they qualified.

Not many games all season were they willing to play hard for a full 60 minutes, in my memory. Doubt they were even able. 

Off season conditioning was highlighted by Ruff. He sees it.

They have seemed like a team that for long stretches gets outskated and outworked.  It's not all on the strength coach (hello player accountability), but i do think he probably didn't do his job well enough.  Time to go in a different direction.

If Lindy said they need to start the season in better shape I believe it, but off season conditioning is not the reason they are not a playoff team.   Zach Benson doing more push ups and Payton Krebs improving his stamina is great, but that is not gonna move the dial.  

So they are making a change, and maybe the next guy will be "better", but the players are ultimately responsible for their training and their diet, both in season and out of it.   The Strength and Conditioning coach is not going to travel the globe to make sure the players are invested in their careers.  That has to come from within the players.  

This is part show,  makes some moves to show someone is doing something.

Has there ever been a GM so out of touch with the pulse of his own team, to a man, from day one of every season? To think he was hired on a culture change mandate
