Full disclosure on the question.  It took me many decades, like 4,  to realize that that original Canucks logo, the rink and stick, had a C in it.

From the NJ Devils 

 

The New Jersey Devils today announced that the team will not renew the contracts of Assistant Coaches Ryan McGill and Chris Taylor.

Additionally, the contracts of Head Video Coach Jerry Dineen and Utica Comets Assistant Coach David Cunniff also will not be renewed.

The search has begun for replacements.

There’s your first addition to the staff, Taylor. But it’s interesting to see that the devils carried him over from Lindy’s staff. So other teams do it too.
